Made for the art book "Age of Pantheons". Ame-no-Uzume, Shinto goddess.
I checked the mature tag for partial nudity just to be extra careful, but the illustration is directly inspired by an episode from the Kojiki.
When Amaterasu sealed herself inside a cave, making the world plunge into darkness, all kami gathered up to try and convince the Sun goddess to come back. But she was deaf to their pleas. Always the problem solver, Uzume, goddess of dance and merrymaking, and soon to be promoted goddess of dawn, picked up some sasaki branches, dangled out her bosom and improvised a dance which the other kami found hilarious. They laughed so much and made such noise that Amaterasu, who was quite put out by all the fun everyone seemed to be having without her, was tricked into coming out of her hiding place. And so, light was restored and nobody died. Except vampires. Fin.
